Brent Island
Fungi
Fungi can be found on The Island in a variety of places - dead wood, living wood, in undergrowth, across the meadow. This page records fungi that have been found there. Our aim is to build up a record of images and identifications of The Island's many fungi.
Thanks to Laurette Guest for photographing and identifying these fungi this autumn (2016). Click on the photos for a larger scale image.
